What we stand on

Consent-first.
A twin can only be created by the verified person it represents. Nobody gets cloned without saying yes first.
Honesty.
A twin is a model of a personality. It is not the person, and it is not a consciousness. We say this plainly, everywhere, always.
Control.
You own your twin, see everything, and can delete it instantly. You decide who ever has access.
Dignity.
We do not sell fear of death or promise immortality. We help you continue, with care.
Do no harm.
We design against unhealthy dependency, we point you back toward real relationships, and we never use grief as a growth tactic.
What Sona is not
Sona is for living people who want to extend what they can do and hold on to who they are, entirely under their own control. It is not a way to bring anyone back, not a stand-in for a person, and not a deepfake tool.
The guardrails
Anti-deepfake by design.
All twin content is cryptographically signed and labeled, so anyone can check where it came from.
An ethics board.
Psychologists, grief specialists, and AI ethicists in governance from our first public step. We are appointing them now, and we will publish every member by name before launch.
A principles manifesto.
Public and binding: consent, control, honesty, dignity, do no harm. If we break one, you will be able to point at the document.
Care for sensitive moments.
Off-ramps that encourage healthy grieving, links to real support, and a twin built to point you toward people rather than stand in for them.

GDPR, CCPA, EU AI Act, and likeness and posthumous-privacy laws, reviewed market by market.
How preserving and passing on a twin works
Capturing the people you love starts as something for the living: a parent who is less alone, stories saved for grandchildren. If a twin is ever preserved or passed on, it happens only on terms the owner set in advance, with verification, time-gating, and family governance. The owner is always in charge of their own continuation. We never turn grief into a growth tactic.
